COMMENTARY by Candace Owens — "A Strange Thing Happened At Charlie’s Funeral... Plus, A Shocking Medical Examiner Report. | Ep 368" (published 2026-07-30).

So, friends. Have a nice Wednesday. I hope you are well. And what can we say after yesterday, except that this short clip has not stood the test of time at all? Do you believe that Tyler Robinson killed your husband? Yes, I believe. I never understood this confidence, this conviction. After I spoke with her, there was no evidence to suggest that. Now we have reached the preliminary hearings. I still do n't understand this confidence. And it seems the internet agrees with me on this. The Internet, I can say with confidence, especially after the exclusive video we released yesterday, has a lot of questions. It was an incredible and very fun time at X, it was a lot of fun listening to all these people, the " mockingbirds", trying to explain what we clearly see with our own eyes, or what we don't see. It's just an incredible sight. They think they can do it. Well, there's a lot to discuss today, because another important event happened yesterday. The prosecution filed a memorandum, although, sorry, Tyler's defense filed a memorandum. They highlighted some of the injuries Charlie had according to the autopsy. Charlie suffered a hemorrhage in his heart and lungs after the bullet hit him in the neck. And that's why people online are asking a lot of questions about these injuries. And, of course, everyone will draw different conclusions and find their own answers. But first, I want to discuss the most important question : is Charlie Kirk really buried? Because an interesting thing happened in the days we saw Erica, after we saw Erica bending over his coffin. So, welcome back to the show, Candace. I don't want to be you. I don't want I don't want I don't want As expected, yesterday there was a lot of what young people call " copy" on the Internet. The crowd that says Candice never has evidence. She's just delusional. Oh, she just goes on her show every day and pretends to be delusional. They didn't have the best night on social media after our episode. By the way, I always love that moment when you are caught off guard by a flock of "mockingbirds ." They try to get their thesis in order, looking at you as if to say, “What do we have to say here? "We were n't prepared for this. " They don't have their own opinions, do they ? So, they just wait for the next instructions, and sometimes the one instructing them hasn't prepared them. And in that span of time, in that precious little span of time, they begin to fill the airwaves with general discontent and stupidity. They are trying to attack reality . This is truly, as I said, a spectacle not for the faint of heart. They are like little lost sheep, but usually quite angry, so some of them simply demanded that I be arrested. I'm not kidding. This person tweeted: " If Candice is not charged with obstruction of justice and jury tampering after she released footage of Tyler Robinson allegedly killing Charlie today, the judge should demand an explanation. She is part of a two-tier justice system. I'm not going to post this, but the defense insisted that this footage not be shown to the public so that Tyler Robinson gets a fair trial. Well, Candice just released it. I don't know how, but these people need to go to jail." This is backed up by an account called Lisa Knows. She wrote: " Candice just released footage that a judge ordered not to be shown to the public. She has already de-anonymized the prosecution witness. When will she finally be charged with obstruction of justice? This is completely out of control. She is doing everything she can to derail this process. She is truly evil." I like the idea that I'm obstructing justice while they bring real influencers who lie to justice. Influencers go around lying about what they see in the courtroom. And of course, it got the community's attention pretty quickly. Regarding the obstruction of justice charges, the community note states: " Candice released independently obtained footage from the Lozi roof. Court restrictions on broadcasting evidence only apply to trial participants , not outside commentators." The legal standard for obstruction of justice requires the presence of a criminal intent to hinder the proceedings. I'm not trying to hinder the process, I'm trying to help it. It's just what happened. I'm not hiding anything. I say: share more. Daylight is the best disinfectant. Now you might be wondering what Turning Point USA said? Is that true? This was a pretty loud event yesterday. And what about the always wise and strategic spokesperson for Turning Point USA? Andrew Kolb, and if you think Andrew Kolb, he probably did what we expect him to do—expressed concern or at least some interest in the new staff. People look, and their eyes say: this person looks educated. This man really looks like a tactician. The speed at which he ducks and you claim he made a shot—this can't be some rookie. Of course, Andrew Kolb is going to share something and demand more thorough investigation, let's say, "Thank you, Candace." Demand answers to questions about what happened on September 10th, when Charlie Kirk died. Charlie Kirk is the person to whom he owes his entire career and public presence. But you're wrong if you think so, because here's what Andrew Kolb responded with in a series of tweets . This is the person who calls my eyes " teleprompter eyes," and I guess Andrew has a list of words here, a list of words that I mispronounced. A. Oh, okay, that's what he does. At 8:49 PM, after our episode ends, he has a list of words I've mispronounced in the podcast's 367-plus hours of live broadcasts . Here is my list, which I keep to make fun of you. Good. Okay, Andrew. I do n't know. Excuse my ignorance, but I would say that after trying to appropriate Charlie's inheritance, what did I say there? Posthumously instead of post-mortem? People are starting to realize that Charlie was surrounded by vipers. I would say that bringing influencers into the courtroom and then instructing those influencers to put on these weird, over-the-top dramatic performances, pretending they were opposing the blitzkrieg—is that what I said? The evidence, now completely disproven, is something worthy of ridicule, and you find yourself in the middle of a minor fiasco, one mess after another. Does this bother you? Oh, you better get on with your list. Nobody cares , Andrew. What a sign that you are an absolute loser. What, are you 45 years old? You just flip through podcasts looking for mispronounced words. I don't think this will help your case. And by the way, about the mocking influencers who are worth laughing at, Tim Poole, he's obviously just repeating all the state narratives, just the current state narratives. Believe in the deep state? Well, he probably didn't understand the task at all, because he rushed to save the narrative after our video was shared with a completely false conclusion. It was pretty incredible. A few people did it, simply not having any idea, not being able to understand what we were sharing. In effect , we were saying, "This person was a decoy and never fired a single shot." And Tim Poole wrote this in response to Alex Jones. He said, " None of this is true." "This is just speculation." Oddly enough , this serves as a counterargument to the claims about the exploding microphone , however. No, Tim Poole. No. That's not true, that's not really what happened here. This is now making people dig even deeper into the claim about the exploding microphone . Because we ruled out the version that the person on the roof fired the shot. This is exactly what Alex Jones claimed. This is just madness. A bunch of people wrote to us , clearly explaining that this was impossible. You would see the gravel bounce if he fired a .30-06. If he had fired that weapon, this is what would have happened . So we say it was another diversionary maneuver . A person who was told to climb onto the roof, stay there, and then come down, most of whom didn't even see the weapon. I want to emphasize this. We saw no evidence that there were any weapons on the roof at all . Even our source, the person who recorded the recording, doesn't say anything or show a weapon in that recording. So, we have no evidence. We simply begin to believe that the person had a gun, even though we never saw it. I mean , of course we have to mention " Paramount Not So Tactical" because it can never be excluded from Media SC. Uh, he also spoke out. This is how he was going to save the narrative with a photograph of a child learning to crawl. See? He's like, "This is a military tactic, this proves it's so easy to do." Even a child could do it. It's like a new take on a Geico commercial. So easy that a child can handle it. He really shared it. He shared a photo of the child as proof that the person wasn't trained or tactical, that it was just normal human instinct or something. The child could have been a soldier. Maybe it was the child on the roof. Absolutely absurd and funny on the internet. But I want to draw your attention to Blake Neff's answer, because it will be critically important later. You know me, I'm always playing games with these people. Blake Neff also got angry over Alex Jones' tweet and said, "That's it, we're done with this narrative." His narrative about the roof had actually just been destroyed. And Blake Neff replied to him: "There are a lot of errors and distortions in this post, Alex." First, the claim that this material is { quote} something that {quote} the courts are not allowing the public to see omits the fact that it was the defense that demanded that it be kept from the public on the grounds that it would harm Tyler. Prosecutors repeatedly fought to keep nothing secret during the preliminary hearing. He distorts it. The rifle is not taken out of the pants in this video because there was another video from the roof at a different angle that captures this moment. This is where I want to pause. And then he says, "And once the rifle is taken out, he obviously won't limp. He obviously won't limp, understand?" This is something new. This is something new. I've never heard of such a thing. I've never heard anyone claim that there's another angle of the video where we can see him taking the rifle out of his pants. Blake Neff makes this statement, and I just want to emphasize it. Of course? He says, " Caniss did not release this video." This person doesn't look like Tyler Robinson because at this distance they literally look like no one else . Oho. Where were you when all these influencers were claiming it was Tyler Robinson in 4K? And now suddenly you are taking our position. And we don't know who it is. It could be anyone . He continues: "It's the other footage taken on campus that confirms he was there. We have close-up footage of a person who looks enough like Tyler that his own parents would recognize him." There is no evidence that his parents said this. We've never seen this before. Blake is just making this up as he goes . For example, the footage that also captured a similar car of Tyler arriving on campus : the license plates were blurred, the car was blurred. Again, it's Blake making assumptions. Blake is allowed to speculate, but we are not. He said: " The recoil from the prone position may be minimal, but in any case we know that the shooting was from that location because the bullet coming from that direction killed Charlie , which is confirmed in the forensic report . Please don't keep playing into this, Alex. It's just amazing." Turning Point is so quick to want to end any investigation into what happened that day. And I think there's a reason for that, Blake. Specifically the reason why you always get so angry when people start noticing these holes in this version. There's a reason you and Andrew Kohlberg are always so furious. Anyway, today on the Beavis and Butt-Head show, they further explained this logic. And this is what they said. Well, a little note on that. I checked the information with people who were in the courtroom that day. And they say that this fragment that was shown, that we will show now, does not contain—as I understand it , there is a different perspective. At least, again , I didn't see it , but there's a moment where you can see him roll over the railing and collect his weapons. It's a little blocked by the railings, but that's probably what's going on there. I was asking about this, Andrew, and look, they have two angles: the guy climbs over the railing, and you see him doing something. As you said , he is covered by the railings, but it is clear that he is doing some actions, from which we can assume: he is taking a rifle out of his pants, preparing it to fire. And then there is a short " blind spot", after which we see on the video how the guy runs along the roof, gets into a shooting position, and at the moment when, as we know, the shooting occurred, he picks himself up in a second and runs away. And... Okay, now we have some differences. So, he...well, they say we haven't seen the recording. But you have to believe those who were in the courtroom and saw him—the same ones who lied to you, and we didn't catch them in that lie, we gave them a platform when they said it was 4K and it was Tyler Robinson. You have to believe what they say, as if there is another perspective and something can be deduced from it. I didn't know we were allowed to think that? You yourself tell us: "If you don't have evidence in 4K, how dare you assume?" But it turns out they can infer that this recording, which they haven't seen but which someone in court told them about, supposedly shows him picking up a weapon and taking it out of his pants. That doesn't sound very specific. I think if I made that conclusion on my show , you would be very angry. You would say, "Did you dream that, Candice?" "Did you dream that?" "Did you astral project?" » As Andrew tweeted. Um , we present concrete evidence , and you draw conclusions from the words of influencers in court. Of course. It seems a little unfair. But I accept this challenge. I will rise to refute what you say. Challenge accepted because you guys lie about everything. Anyway , changing the subject, I'd like to talk today primarily about Charlie's funeral. Um, about Charlie's funeral. A turning point, an extraordinary sensitivity, I would add, a new sensitivity, because as we showed you a few days ago, actually, if you rewind the tape , they were very open about Charlie's body at first. So, to recap: September 10th , sometime in the early afternoon, I think I told you earlier that she shared this herself, but I was actually told that it was supposedly Elizabeth McCoy recording Erica at Charlie's open casket in Utah. It's September 11th, around noon . And then, at 5:27 p.m. that same day, Arizona time, the local television station, Sky News, openly reported— so we're not the first to say this—that Charlie was headed to Hansen's morgue in Phoenix. Now I will show you this excerpt. This is So, if you just joined us on the stream, it's 5:27 p.m. Phoenix time, about an hour ago Flight Two landed at Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix's main airport, with the body of Charlie Kirk, his family, and the Vice President. And as we're broadcasting live from Sky 12, we see the motorcade turn the corner. And it is clearly visible that law enforcement officers cleared the way for this procession. And it looks like a white hearse might be ahead. It's a little hard to see, but, you know, he's clearly heading off the freeway onto the street and eventually arriving at Hansen's morgue. So, it was made public. Everyone knew where he was going. They saw what time he landed and that he was going to Hansen's morgue in Phoenix. On September 12, the next day, Charlie is back in Phoenix at Hansen's Morgue, and Erica decides to post the video that Elizabeth actually took the day before in Utah. She posts footage of herself leaning over Charlie's open coffin on social media. Again, it's important that this footage was shot the day before, because if you were following the local news, you might mistakenly think that this video was shot in Phoenix, but it wasn't. And I also want to point out that this is an open coffin that you see in Utah. Fast forward to September 20th, at approximately 11:00 AM: Charlie is no longer in Hansen's morgue. He is currently having a Catholic funeral mass, which is being held at the Catholic church that Charlie attended regularly. And this happens in the middle of the day. And so you should immediately ask yourself the question: why these changes? Why these changes? The mass was not hidden from the public. Okay, it was obviously closed to the public, but it wasn't hidden from people, as it was held at the same time as a mass for local parishioners. They saw the hearse. They said exactly what the news reports. They saw it. But, as I said, it was closed to the public. So it wasn't something they were trying to keep a top secret. The relevant question here is : why did you switch from Hansen to Catholicism? Okay , that means a complete change of narrative. Let's not forget that there was a whole " mockingjay" campaign aimed at attacking me after I publicly stated that there were rumors of Charlie's imminent conversion, which we had hoped for. Catholics hoped he would do it. This was a conversation that was happening even between Charlie and me. Like, take the next step, take the next step. And it just pissed them off . It was a priority for Turning Point immediately after Charlie's murder to come out and bring clarity. And by " clarify" I mean stop it . He said, "That's not true." Of course? This was such a priority that their spokesman, Andrew Kolbaugh, joined the Alex Clarke Show and denied the insinuations. And I want you to listen to remember what was said. Did he become a Catholic? No. But he really loved the Catholic mass. He loved its ritualism. He loved the beauty of old Catholic churches and stained glass. And he and Erica sometimes went there. Yes, Erica has been Catholic since childhood, but her story is the same as mine: I grew up Catholic, received Holy Communion, went to Catholic school, but in college I became a Christian through the Protestant church, through a kind of non-denominational experience. It was actually a Presbyterian and then some kind of non-denominational church. And I think Erica went through the same path. She and I share By the way, I just want to point out that she previously posted a photo of herself with Charlie and the kids at Mass, and someone in the comments asked, "Oh, are you guys converting?" To which she replied, "No, we just like to visit sometimes." So she said "no " herself. They make it clear. No conversions took place, and although Erica was a Catholic from birth, by the way, they are telling the truth. We know this. Erica talks about this in podcasts. Erica positioned herself in every way as non-denominational. It's full of pastors. Everyone says, "I'm the pastor of America. I'm Pastor Charlie." But they wanted to disprove the idea that Charlie or Erica were Catholic. And what you should know about this: I was told that Andrew—it was pre-recorded , and throughout the conversation you can see little splices because Andrew was texting with Erica during the recording to make sure she agreed with what he was saying and sharing. So, this public announcement received her approval. And again , to be clear, this was a recording made for the Catholic funeral mass for Charlie. The day after these words, you hold a Catholic funeral mass. Does this make any sense? Scroll back. Does this fit in your head? Neither Erica nor Charlie are Catholic. They just liked the “smells and bells,” but they were committed nondenominational and then evangelical Christians. So sorry, excuse my common sense here. I know it's forbidden. But if you were planning to bury Charlie, who you said was not Catholic, in a Catholic cemetery, why didn't you just transport him straight to a Catholic funeral home instead of picking him up from Hansen? Transporting a body is an indication that something went wrong, you know? I have seen a lot. You don't just decide to transport the body of the deceased between funeral homes. You don't say, "Oh, well, we put him in this bureau, and now we're going to move him to another one," especially if you're choosing to bury someone for religious reasons. Are we allowed to have common sense and say that it's like: "Mm , yeah, no, it's not...something happened." So, here's what happened. We got a hint. And this tip was confirmed to a large extent. And I'll be clear here about what is being asserted and what is not, because in some parts I'm not making assumptions, I'm telling you exactly what happened. So, with respect to Hansen, the individual stated with evidence that I find credible that the reason Charlie was brought to Hansen and eventually transferred was because the company refused to participate in a "mock funeral." Of course? Funeral simulation. So that you understand why I believe this information to be reliable: I have read text messages sent about this by people who should have this information. So, I'll explain what it is, or more precisely, what is meant by the term " staged burial" in this particular scenario , so that there is no confusion. It is considered staged because the deceased is not going to be buried after all. Of course? You can request a staged burial before or after the person's cremation. Almost like a celebration. We want this person to be in a coffin, to have a celebration, to hold a funeral, but this coffin will not be lowered into the ground. Actually, we're going to cremate him. I was told that Hansen refused to participate in the staged burial. Therefore, Turning Point USA had to look for other options. And in the end, they settled on the Catholic church because of Erica's very close ties with the priest. You just remember the church in general. If you watched our series "Bride of Chucky ", we talked about Erica's field of activity or her past, the school she attended. But about the priest, to refresh your memory : Erica is probably that close to him, despite not being Catholic or a practicing Catholic, whatever Andrew is talking about. But that priest who ends up conducting the Catholic funeral mass - she's so close to him that instead of bringing her family to Utah after she found out her husband had been shot, after she found out her husband had been killed, instead of calling her family, she arranged to bring a priest. We then saw him by her side as he traveled with her to upcoming events. There was that Turning Point event in October where the vice president spoke at Ole Miss on October 29th. The priest was with her. He traveled with her there too. All of this seems rather extraordinary in retrospect, because Turning Point still maintains that Charlie did not flirt with Catholicism. That's what Blake Neff said the other day, although the bishop claimed otherwise. So did I talk to Charlie? But Blake Neff said : “No, never. A convinced evangelist. So why a Catholic funeral mass, if not because of a personal relationship with a priest who will fulfill your special request that others have refused? By the way, this is not illegal. I don't mean that anything illegal was done. I'm saying that if that's true, then that means you have I'll do it for you. I will do what others say they won't do. This means that the real intention was not to bury Charlie according to the Catholic rite, because he is not Catholic. He did not die a Catholic. Now, the next part I'm going to tell you is not an assumption, it's a fact. On the day of that Catholic funeral mass, Charlie's coffin was closed. This is a fact. Later, she was indeed taken to a Catholic cemetery. And close friends, family, and wealthy patrons gathered around that coffin for the last time. So you think, "Oh, they're probably putting it in the ground right now." No, that didn't happen. I can tell you that it didn't happen, and I'm not saying "allegedly" in this case. Instead, they were asked to leave. They did not see Charlie being taken to the burial site. They didn't see Charlie being lowered into the ground. There was no grave dug there. Instead, they were told, "You go, and we'll handle the rest ourselves." They are going to bury him in an unnamed place. We don't want you to know where it will be because we are afraid that someone might desecrate the grave, for example, the left might come and desecrate the place where he is buried. This was told to his close family and friends. So those present were then taken to lunch elsewhere. Again , I'm stating this as fact. No one present at Charlie's actual funeral that day can deny seeing him being buried. That would be untrue. They would lie. They were asked to leave. So, putting it all together, I conclude that this was indeed a mock burial, done as a favor by a friend. Again, this is not illegal. I tend to believe he was cremated either before or after that. And this ceremony was for family and friends, you know, to have a funeral, but in the end, Charlie was n't buried that day. And that's the reason I believe Erica decided to hold a Catholic funeral mass, despite publicly indicating otherwise regarding Charlie's evangelical beliefs. So, why is this important? This is important because it would be extremely unusual— if it is a fact that he was cremated and it was a mock burial —for someone to seek cremation of their spouse before the completion of a murder investigation. Simply and clearly, this contradicts attempts to find answers. And, um, their sensitivity doesn't make sense otherwise. Otherwise it doesn't make sense. What they are telling you is complete nonsense, as if there is some fear that a left-wing trans person will appear . Look at anyone who has recently died. You can find where they were buried. People who are bigger and more significant. You can ...you can Google where George Bush Sr. is president. Where is he buried? Google where JFK Jr. was buried . This can be found. You can find the burial places of anyone else ...anyone else from the recent past? John McCain. You can google it right now. Where is John McCain buried? So you 're saying that all these great people who were extremely controversial, people who were constantly fighting each other politically, can be buried publicly, and you can visit them publicly, and you can find out and see the moment when their relatives were around and when these plots were dug up, but you're telling me that Charlie Kirk just... no, no, no, no, we're just so scared. Can I have just one thing? Can I have just one thing? Yes. I would do it again. Can we have at least one thing? Can we find out the truth? Can we find out the truth? I want, I want to record this for the record. I'm bored with them, and the truth about everything will come out. So yes, I know that revenge is not mine, but the truth belongs to everyone, and everyone can see it for what it is, feel it, and no one will be convinced by Andrew's late-night misspelled tweets or Blake Neff trying to explain to us that the evidence we see with our own eyes should not be trusted, but rather the people in the courtroom whose own eyes told them things that have never been made public. It's ridiculous that they say such things about a screwdriver. What are you even talking about? Where is this in the case files? This does not exist. Officer Bagley, it just…it just went off. I do n't know. I don't know what happened to the video from my body camera right when I found the screwdriver that Blake apparently mentions. There must be another video around the corner or something. This, this unbearable waiting . I have to say this. This is what I have to do, and I practice this patience exercise all the time, and I have done quite well. But, man, what I know now, it, it burns me. It literally burns me from the inside. That's why, you know, we were late because we were debating when to publish things, but they're making mistakes now, and we have to let them continue to make those mistakes. In any case, yesterday, as I mentioned to you, I think I said the prosecution at the beginning and then the defense. Actually, my producer corrected me: this prosecution filed a memorandum. And in that memorandum, they highlighted some of the injuries that Charlie had during the autopsy , to which the internet is now reacting: "What?"
