For state highway s in the Medford UGB, state access m anagem ent guidelines would apply as follows:
• Rogue Valley Highway (Highway 99):
o Within Medford north and south of th e couplet (signed for 40 m ph speeds):
– Minor deviations for a private approach could allow between 200 and 275-foot m inimum
spacing
– 500-foot m inimum spacing for driveway s or intersecting streets
– Minor deviations for a public appro ach could allow 475-foot m inimum spacing
– Minor deviations for a private approach could allow 400-foot m inimum spacing
o Riverside Avenue/Court Street-Central Avenue couplet north of McAndrews Road and south
of Barnett Road in Medford (signed for 20 to 35 m ph speeds):
– 400-foot m inimum spacing for driveway s or intersecting streets
– Minor deviations for a public approach could allow between 245 and 325-foot m inimum
spacing
• Jacksonville Highway (Highway 238) – new alignm ent along Rossanley Road:
o Highway 62/Highway 99 to UGB Boundary (signed for 40 m ph speeds):
– 500-foot m inimum spacing for driveway s or intersecting streets
– Minor deviations for public approach could allow 475-foot m inimum spacing
• – Minor deviations for private appro ach could allow 400-foot m inimum spacing
Crater Lake Highway (Highway 62):
o I-5 interchange to Delta Wate rs (signed for 45 m ph speeds):
– 990-foot m inimum spacing for driveway s or intersecting streets
o Delta Waters to Vilas (signed for 45 m ph speeds)
– Minor deviations for public approach could allow 740-foot m inimum spacing
– Minor deviations for private appro ach could allow 530-foot m inimum spacing
– 2,640-foot m inimum spacing for driveway s or intersecting streets
– No m inor deviations perm itted.
