Our 15th Anniversary Sale-ebration
This Saturday marks the 15th anniversary of the release of Audio Hijack 1.0 and the
start of Rogue Amoeba. We've had an amazing decade and a half so far, and it's
been possible thanks to the support of customers like you. We want to celebrate our
birthday by helping to solve even more of the world's audio problems. To do this,
we're offering big discounts on our entire product line for the next six days.
EFTA00640743
If you've been considering purchasing any of our apps, this is a great (and rare)
chance to save a massive 20% to 60% off our everyday low prices. See our blog
post for more details, or just visit the sale page now. Be sure to act fast, because this
sale ends when September does!
Of course, as a member of this list, you likely already own some of our audio apps. If
you're all set, great! Please accept our deep appreciation for your part in our first 15
years! Maybe tell your friends about us? :)
Get Updates for MacOS 10.13 (High Sierra)
EFTA00640744
Apple is shipping MacOS 10.13 (High Sierra) today, and we're fully updated for
compatibility. Each of our apps has initial support for the new operating system, so
we're ready to make the leap to High Sierra with you.
Get the latest versions by selecting "Check for Update" inside each of our apps.
Users of our Instant On extra should also be sure to update via the "Install Extras"
window in Airfoil, Audio Hijack, Nicecast, or Piezo.
Introducing SoundSource 3
EFTA00640745
Long-time Rogue Amoeba fans may remember our retired SoundSource and Lineln
freebies, but did you know we recently brought them back in a single well-designed
app? Read about the release of SoundSource 3, our menu bar-based sound control.
Best of all, if you own a current version of any Rogue Amoeba app, you can get a
complimentary license for SoundSource. Who doesn't love a free gift? Visit our site
to learn all about SoundSource.
Airfoil Has Full Apple TV Compatibility
EFTA00640746
When Apple released tvOS 10.2, it temporarily broke Airfoil's ability to stream audio
to the Apple TV. We worked hard to restore this functionality, and that work has
continued with updates for full compatibility with tvOS 11 as well.
Rest assured, Airfoil for Mac can now stream audio to any and all Apple TVs, and
we'll always strive to make sure that's the case. As long as you're using the latest
Airfoil for Mac, you'll be in good shape.
Wrapping Up
We're nearly 3/4ths of the way through 2017, but this is actually our first email of the
year. We often include a review of the previous year, but at this point, I'll simply
direct you to our blog summary of 2016. Give it a read to see what you might have
missed last year.
