Hi Lydia
With regards to the interview with HH Sheikh Hamdan, we suggest the following.
We have taken into considering the need for a one-on-one interview in a studio environment, plus the
preference for visitors from China to see our landmarks, the Bud Al Arab and Burj Khalifa; and the contrast
with showing part of old Dubai. I am very happy to discuss this but we need to make a quick decision:
I. Yang Lan travels to Bud Al Arab (Sail shaped hotel) in a helicopter and lands at the helipad (Note — the
ideal scenario would be for HH Sheikh Hamdan to be in the helicopter)
2. The one-on-one interview takes place in a suite at the Burj Al Arab and covers the main questions
3. Yang Lan and HH Sheikh Hamdan journey down through the Burj Al Arab and into a car: they are shown
briefly travelling down Sheikh Zayed Road (main highway of Dubai)
4. They arrive at Sheikh Saeed House (historic home of HH Sheikh Hamdan's great-grandfather) - Yang
Lan asks HH Sheikh Hamdan about his personal life, his love for poetry and his thoughts on Dubai's rise
to a global city
5. They arrive at Burj Khalifa (world's tallest tower)
6. They travel to the top of Bud Khalifa - and discuss Dubai's ambition and future growth.
Please let me know your thoughts as soon as possible
Kind regards
Charlie

Hi Jessie:
it seems on 21st the day time is available for interviews, but not the evening time. 22 is more busy, she is free
on the morning, but not from 12am-15:30pm. other time is Ok.
I think it is better we arrange two interviews all in 21st day time, and on the second day, our production team
can go around Dubai to do some shooting.
I will give you the Yang Lan studio's company registration certificate tomorrow, because today is Sunday, and our
legal department is not working.
Thanks
waiting for your reply

Hi Ivy and Lydia,
We will book the flights from our office. Cheryl (on cc) will be assisting with all logistics and bookings for your group.
I would like to confirm that Yang Lan is available on 21— 22 April, with 12pm — 3pm on 22 April being blocked out due to
the conference. We are working out the schedule right now, and will need this confirmation.
I'm working on the final touches of the contract, and will send it over tomorrow. Please send me Yang Lan studio's
company registration certificate, as our lawyer has asked for it.
Cheers!

Dear Lydia
HH Sheikh Hamdan is available on the 21st April — I now need clarification from you on how long you will
need to conduct the full interview, including the sit-down interview and the filming of him and Ms Yang in
different locations in Dubai.
Unfortunately both HH Sheikh Ahmed and HE Mohamed Al Shaibani are now not going to be in Dubai — His
Highness Sheikh Mohammed, Ruler of Dubai, is going away on a significant overseas trip and both HH
Sheikh Ahmed and HE Mohamed Al Shaibani are going as part of the delegation. We therefore need to
organise a different second interviewee which is something we are looking into with urgency — it is likely that
it will be HE Helal Almarri, Director General of Dubai Tourism, so the piece will feature on Dubai's tourism
story.
With regards to the second interview, can you also confirm when this would take place — it has come to our
attention that Ms Yang's participation in a conference will stop her from being able to film during the early
afternoon of the 22nd.
Considering the investment we are putting into this project, please clearly outline Ms Yang's schedule from
arrival to departure
Kind regards
Charlie
