Going forward, please post K-1s to Apollo portal — I prefer not to have Leon's SSN in cyberspace (transmitted via
unsecure email)
I have a 2013 K-1 that zero's out LDB's Coinvest III capital and moves the capital to BFP. But now I have I have 2014 K-1
that shows opening capital a/o 1/1/2014? Very disturbing that I do not have final 2013 K-1's or K-1's are changing
without me/ Leon family office knowing.
Have the 2014 returns been filed for Co-invest III?

Hi Richard, we filed final short year 2014 returns for AIF Ill and Co-investor Ill. Because the 2014 kl was not yet
available, we used 2013 kl report the 2014 taxable income/loss, and marked it from 1/1/2014-3/31/2014 (see Leon
Black's 2014 kl in Co-investors
In the 2014 tax estimate schedule:
For Advisor II - the amounts represented the 2014 estimated taxable losses which would be allocable to Leon Black;
For Coinvestor Ill —in addition to the taxable income reported on the 2014 Coinvestor III short year k1 (per attached kl),
there could be an additional gain or loss as a result of the liquidation of this partnership in 2014 to consider (based on
the outside tax basis calculation in the partnership), which is no reflected on the 2014 kl.
Please let me know if you have any questions or require anything else. Thanks.
Chris

Please help• there were two K-1's issued in 2012 — one to LDB (should have been BFP) and one to 1997 Black Family
Trust. Can you clarify which entity had clawback? I see interest income allocated to one partner and LTCG to the other,
Thanks
