Its latest developments hold the potential to transform both businesses, industries and society. While significant advancements have been made since AI’s inception in the mid-20th century – and rapid adoption has occurred in the last decade, most organizations face challenges in scaling emerging AI technologies and achieving return on investment (ROI). The key opportunity lies in identifying the right applications, amplifying their impacts and carefully managing implementation complexities and associated risks. This should be guided by a strong commitment to ethics, transparency and human well-being to ensure AI truly benefits businesses and society – including sustainability aspects.
