Initiative context and objective
Accenture has had a strategic approach to inclusion and diversity for nearly 30 years and its
focus on LGBTQI+ inclusion has been a key priority for over 20 years. Two years ago, the
company launched the “Pride Means More” initiative to strengthen its support for the LGBTQI+
community and accelerate positive change. For employees, support comes through expanded
Pride networks, inclusive policies and leadership development programmes. For the business,
the initiative promotes inclusive talent acquisition, supports supplier diversity and fosters client
engagement. In the broader community, Accenture engages in extensive NGO partnerships,
advocacy efforts and volunteer activities to advance LGBTQI+ rights and well-being.
