Geopolitics –71% of organizations report adjusting their cybersecurity strategy due to geopolitical volatility – which is slightly higher than the overall average of 66%. Additionally, 61% of respondents report incorporating geopolitically motivated cyberattacks into risk mitigation plans – global average 64%.Resilience –In sub-Saharan Africa only 8% of organizations rate their cyber resilience as exceeding requirements (globally 19%), while around 32% assess it to be insufficient (globally 17%), resulting in the lowest resilience levels across regions, according to the GCO 2026 survey.
