Plenary session of the Schwab Foundation Awards 2025 The ceremony of the Schwab Foundation 2025 Awards honoured 18 outstanding social entrepreneurs and innovators from 13 countries for their efforts to make the world a better place. Several notable figures, including Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus, Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez, and former US Vice-President Al Gore, joined the stage. Also present were Hilde Schwab, Co-Founder and Chairperson of the Schwab Foundation, Klaus Schwab, Founder of the World Economic Forum, Gim Huay Neo, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum and various global business leaders.Schwab Foundation Awards 2025 – presentation In a dedicated livestreamed session, each of the 18 awardees had the opportunity to showcase their work to the onsite and online world audiences. The 2025 awardees are addressing health disparities from the US to Zambia, creating income opportunities for displaced individuals, combating deforestation in Central and West Africa, and improving the lives of vulnerable communities in Mexico and beyond. The Schwab Foundation used the Annual Meeting 2025 to showcase social entrepreneurs and innovators who are already proving that new business models can succeed. The goal was to help expand these solutions and bring their impact to more people worldwide. It is a great privilege to introduce the 2025 Schwab Foundation Awardees, a remarkable group of social entrepreneurs and innovators who embody integrity, humility and positive values in their work.
