Sunday 12:20 p.m. — Police arrested a 23 year of transient man for stealing candy from Safeway. Sunday — An Ashland Parks employee reported that someone broke into the office at North Mountain Park and stole an unknown amount of cash and a digital camera. Sunday — A Terrace Street resident reported that someone stole an 18" snake sculpture from his yard. Sunday 7:34 a.m. — Police cited two transient men for illegally camping in the dining area of Manna Restaurant on Winburn Way. Sunday 4:28 a.m. — A 22 year old Central Point man provided alcohol to two 20 year old women. All three were cited in the Greensprings Residency Hall parking lot. Sunday 2:23 a.m. — A man tried to elude police on foot after an officer saw the man drive on a lawn on Wightman Street. The man was cited for attempting to elude police, criminal mischief and driving under the influence of intoxicants. Sunday 12:15 a.m. — Ashland Fire and Rescue cited Tabu, a downtown bar, for exceeding its maximum occupancy. Saturday 11:57 p.m. — Police cited 5 men, under the age of 21, for being in possession of alcohol. Saturday 5:58 p.m. — A 22 year old man from Eugene was cited for having more than an ounce of marijuana while driving on Siskiyou Boulevard. Friday — Police are investigating a break-in at the Vinyl Club, at which $1,400 in cash, a safe and a $800 turn table were stolen. Friday 1:59 p.m. — Police cited a 59 year old man for stealing $10.88 worth of merchandise from Bi Mart. Friday 11:54 a.m. — Police arrested a 39 year old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants on Highway 99.
