Sunday 5:31 p.m. — Transient man, 50, arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing at Albertsons, 2300 block of Ashland Street. The man had been removed from the store four times since Friday and was screaming obscenities. He was taken to Jackson County Jail. Sunday 4:27 p.m. — Vehicle broken into while parked on Ashland Loop Road. Someone smashed the driver’s side window and rummaged through the glove box. Nothing was stolen. Sunday 3:26 p.m. — Medford woman, 25, tried to get prescription narcotics at Ashland Community Hospital, 200 block of Maple Street. The woman misrepresented herself to obtain the drugs. Sunday 7:45 a.m. — Man cited for harassment, 1000 block of Hillview Drive. The man and his partner had been involved in a domestic dispute on Oct. 18. She chose not to pursue harassment charges at the time, then changed her mind. Sunday 1:15 a.m. — Ashland man, 19, arrested for disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and resisting arrest, Ashland Street and Lit Way. The man threw a bottle and hit an APD patrol car. The officer chased him on foot, but the man resisted arrest. The man also spit inside and outside the patrol car. He was taken to Jackson County Jail. Saturday 11:27 p.m. — Ashland man, 21, cited for unnecessary noise, 700 block of Jaquelyn Street. Saturday 6:30 p.m. — Transient man, 30, passed out in Triangle Park, Liberty and Iowa streets, arrested for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and a a warrant for five counts of failure to appear. He was taken to Jackson County Jail. Saturday 3:45 p.m. — Mail containing several checks found near the power plant, 900 block of Oak Street. The case is under investigation. Saturday 8:30 a.m. — Tires slashed on a pickup truck parked at the Greensprings residence hall at Southern Oregon University. Saturday 8:12 a.m. — Briefcase stolen from an unlocked vehicle, 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. The briefcase was later recovered at the corner of Iowa and Liberty streets. Saturday 2:40 a.m. — Ashland woman, 19, cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption, Siskiyou Boulevard at Ashland Street. Saturday 1:05 a.m. — Ashland man, 20, cited for unnecessary noise, 800 block of Glendower Street. Friday 10:35 p.m. — Medford man, 40, arrested for DUII, reckless driving, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and three warrants, Siskiyou Boulevard and South Mountain Avenue. The man caused a traffic accident and was taken to Jackson County Jail. Friday 10:27 p.m. — Pumpkin ($5 value) stolen from display at Market of Choice, 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Friday 8:55 p.m. — Boy cited for minor in possession of alcohol at the Ashland High football game, 200 block of South Mountain Avenue. He was released to a guardian. Friday 8:32 p.m. — Vehicle struck and killed a companion animal, then left the scene, Siskiyou Boulevard and Faith Avenue. Friday 7:54 p.m. — Ashland woman, 30, and Eagle Creek man, 25, cited for theft after they ate a meal at Yuan Yuan Restaurant, 2200 block of Ashland Street, and tried to leave without paying. Friday 5:16 p.m. — Eagle Point woman, 20, cited for stealing $13.84 worth of groceries from Market of Choice, 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Friday 4:50 p.m. — Natural gas leak, 200 block of Greenbriar Place. A man put a stake in the ground to hold railroad tie in place a week ago and punctured a natural gas line. Friday 4:34 p.m. — Ashland woman cited for stealing a bottle of champagne ($5.99 value) from Safeway, 500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Friday 4:21 p.m. — Boy arrested for stealing items from Safeway, 500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, and violating his probation. He was taken to the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center. Friday 8:06 a.m. — Case containing $2,100 cash, an address book and ID card stolen from a vehicle parked in a lot at Gresham and Hargadine streets. The person entered the vehicle through an open window. Friday 7:36 a.m. — Someone ripped out the wiring that provides Internet service to Starbucks, 100 block of East Main Street. The vandalism caused $100 damage. Friday 6:10 a.m. — Ashland man, 24, arrested for violating his probation, 1600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. The man had been drinking and is not allowed to. He was taken to Jackson County Jail.
