Friday, 12:27 a.m. – Ashland police took an adult male into custody at the corner of North Pioneer and East Main Streets. He was transported to detox. Friday, 1:08 p.m. – Ashland police took a report of found property near the Clay Street bridge. Friday, 9 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a man for criminal trespass II, resisting arrest and assault on a public safety officer in the first block of North Main Street. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail. Saturday, 1:32 a.m. – Ashland police arrested a man for failure to appear on the charges of trespass II and possession of meth in the first block of North Main Street. He was lodged at jail. Saturday, 12:14 p.m. – Ashland police cited a man for prohibited smoking in the 100 block of East Main Street. Saturday, 1:10 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a juvenile for driving under the influence, minor in possession, reckless driving and hit and run at the corner of Morse Avenue and East Main Street. Saturday, 2:12 p.m. – Ashland police cited a man for prohibited smoking at the corner of Lithia Way and North Pioneer Street. Saturday, 3:37 p.m. – Ashland police took custody of a male at the corner of North Pioneer and East Main Streets and transported him to detox. Sunday, 1:06 a.m. – Ashland police issued a misdemeanor citation for hit and run, criminal mischief and driving under the influence at the corner of Water Street and Van Ness Avenue. Sunday, 1:11 a.m. – Ashland police cited and released a woman for hit and run and property damage in the 600 block of Spring Creek Drive. Sunday, 9:42 a.m. – Ashland police took a report of stolen cash from a business in the 1600 block of Ashland Street. Sunday, 11:31 a.m. – Ashland police took a theft report in the 800 block of Faith Avenue. Sunday, 3:11 p.m. – Ashland police took a report of theft from Rite-Aid. Sunday, 4:16 p.m. – Ashland police responded to a motor vehicle theft in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. Sunday, 4:48 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a man on charges of possession of heroin and a scheduled IV controlled substance at the corner of Highway 99 North and South Valley View Road. He was lodged at jail. Sunday, 4:48 p.m. – Ashland police issued an arrest warrant for failure to register as a sex offender and possession of methamphetamine at the corner of Highway 99 North and South Valley View Road. Sunday, 6:02 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a woman for driving under the influence at the corner of East Main and Fordyce Streets. Sunday, 6:22 p.m. – Ashland police took custody of a male in the 1600 block of Ashland Street due to heavy intoxication. He was transported to detox. Monday, 5:48 p.m. – Ashland police found a runaway juvenile at the corner of East Main Street and East Hills Drive. The juvenile was returned to the parent. Monday, 6:17 p.m. – Ashland police arrested a man for violating a no-contact release agreement at the corner of East Main and Clay Streets.
