Main St., Ashland. Portland photographer Roger Dorband is currently photographing locations surrounding the Rogue River and the river itself in preparation for his next book. Several of the photographs for his upcoming book are now on display. For information, call 488-2562. · `SEA CAMP FOR EDUCATORS' OFFERED by the Jackson Education Service District, in cooperation with Sothern Oregon University Youth Programs and the Ashland Middle School Science Institute. The camp will run August 21-25 and the deadline for registration is July 30. The field course will take teachers and other adults on an outdoor experience at the central Oregon coast which will include a variety of marine biology labs like tidepooling, crabbing, exploring the South Slough estuary, and digging in the mudflats. Participants will also take a three-hour boat ride to view sea birds and mammals in the open ocean. Cost is $300, which includes room and board. For information, call 776-6771. · THE GROVE SUMMER CAMP STILL HAS OPENINGS for up to 20 children per day, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Grove is an AFS approved childcare facility. Children's activities include gardening, nature exploration, bowling, swimming, games, and hiking in local areas. The camp costs from $2.50 per hour to $112.50 for a week, with a discount given to children who are current members of The Grove. For information, call 488-1900. · THE MEALS CLUB OFFERS DINNERS to those who need help preparing and cooking meals and to those who don't qualify for other meal programs. Club dinners are made fresh and then frozen so that they're ready to heat when needed. Dinners include a main dish, vegetable or fruit, bread, and dessert. Weekly deliveries can be arranged. The Meals Club is a service of ACCESS Inc. Community Nutrition Programs. Contributions to help provide meals are tax deductible.
