The man had attempted to start a fight stemming from the game “Halo.” Monday 2:15 p.m. — Ashland man, 41, arrested on three counts of violating a restraining order and taken to Jackson County Jail, 1200 block of Rose Lane. Monday 1:15 p.m. — Man followed woman south on Fork Street near Ashland Loop Road exposing himself. The man was described as between the ages of 30 and 35, 5-foot-10-nches tall and 170 pounds with dark brown crewcut hair, wearing a navy blue T-shirt and blue jeans. Monday 12:27 p.m. — Ashland woman, 40, arrested for disorderly conduct, attempting to elude police officers and escaping officers, and taken to Jackson County Jail, North Main and Hersey streets. Officers attempted to stop the woman on her bicycle. She eluded police twice, then found in bushes and arrested. Monday 11:10 a.m. — Man stole 24-ounce Pabst beer from Market of Choice, 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Monday 9:15 a.m. — Windshield smashed, 1700 block of Homes Avenue. Monday 8:20 a.m. — Tire and wheel stolen from vehicle parked on 700 block of Normal Avenue. The suspects left their old tire with the vehicle. Monday morning — Driver’s side window broken out of SOU security vehicle, 300 block of Wightman Street. The vandalism occurred over the weekend. Monday morning — Rocks thrown at a parked semi-truck, damaging two windows and eight signals, Clay and Ashland streets. A toolbox was also stolen from the top of the flatbed trailer; the incident occurred between 5 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday. Talent Police Monday 3:53 p.m. — Theft of wallet from Wal-Mart customer, 300 block of West Valley View Road. Monday 3:08 p.m. — Theft of wallet containing $24 cash from Wal-Mart customer, 300 block of West Valley View Road. Monday 2:30 p.m. — Theft chainsaw ($300), 100 block of Lani Way. Monday 11 a.m. — Theft of car stereo ($200 value), 00 block of Deborah Drive. Monday 6:09 a.m. — Theft of car stereo ($200 value), 200 block of Deborah Drive. Oregon State Police Saturday 5:50 p.m. — Man, 33, put semi-truck pulling trailer of produce into gravel of lower escape ramp on Interstate 5 northbound. The man was driving solo for the first time, smelled hot brakes and used to escape ramp to be safe. No citations were issued. Thursday 5:15 p.m. — Carlsbad, Calif., man, 61, cited for failure to maintain a single lane of travel, Interstate 5 southbound at milepost 2.5. The car was involved in a single-vehicle accident.
