The historical home is open to the public for viewing. · `HOME FOR CHRISTMAS' will be presented by Pinehurst School at 7 p.m. Thursday at Pinehurst School, located between mile posts 21 and 22 on the Greensprings Highway. Admission is free although donations will be accepted for the school's contribution to children suffering from world hunger. For information, call 482-1910. · TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS MUSIC CONCERT AND SING-ALONG will be presented from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Ashland High School Auditorium Mountain Avenue Theatre. Among the musicians to present will be Dave Marston, David Gabriel, Michael Mish, Cathy Bolton, and Richard Williams. Admission is free. · `WONDERS OF THE WINTER SOLSTICE' will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday at the North Mountain Park Nature Center, 620 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland. Astronomy enthusiast and writer Richard Moeschl will share facts about the winter's constellations and the importance of celestial events to cultures throughout history. Hot cider will be served.
