By Daily Tidings staff report January 06. 2015 12:01AM Police Reports Friday, 11:36 a.m. — A vehicle struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk at Lithia Way and Oak streets. The driver was cited for failing to yield to the pedestrian. The pedestrian's leg was injured, and he was transported to Ashland Community Hospital. Friday, 12:02 p.m. — Police received a report of suspicious activity in the first block of Winburn Way. Friday, 3:47 p.m. — A 56-year-old woman attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at the U.S. Bank in the first block of East Main Street. Friday, 4:07 p.m. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on a warrant charging third-degree theft in the first block of Winburn Way. He was cited and released. In a separate case, two intoxicated juveniles were taken into protective custody in the same area. Friday, 4:34 p.m. — A woman reported that an unknown suspect entered her unlocked car and stole her wallet in the 100 block of North First Street. Saturday, 3:13 p.m. — A 31-year-old woman was cited on a charge of open container of alcohol in the first block of South Pioneer Street. Saturday, 3:31 p.m. — A 36-year-old man was arrested on a Jackson County misdemeanor warrant in the area of Siskiyou Boulevard and Wightman Street. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail. Saturday, 3:59 p.m. — A 33-year-old man was cited on a charge of second-degree trespassing after it was reported that he refused to leave the Stop N Shop market in the 100 block of Lithia Way. Saturday, 11:46 p.m. — A 47-year-old man was arrested on a charge of DUII-alcohol in the area of Quincy and Wightman streets. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail. Saturday, 10:35 p.m. — A Washington state license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. Sunday, 10:35 p.m. — A male juvenile was arrested on a charge of violating his probation by running away and for interfering with a police officer in the 200 block of Walker Avenue.
