Mountain Ave. Dull Olson Weeks Architects Inc. pinpointed more than $42 million in high-priority repairs and improvements at 11 district buildings. Another $32 million in moderate- and low-priority architectural concerns were identified by architects. The firm released a 263-page report summarizing the costs and explaining the architectural, seismic and mechanical/electrical issues at the high school, middle school, three open elementary schools, district office, maintenance center, transportation building and the two closed elementary schools. She said the compliance checks are a key regulatory component of the liquor agency’s mission to prevent underage drinking, which is a critical problem in Oregon and across the nation. Main St.; Standing Stone Brewing Co., 101 Oak St.; Pilaf Restaurant, 18 Calle Guanajuato; Bi-Mart, 2280 Ashland St.; The Vinyl Club, 130 Will Dodge Way; Northwest Pizza & Pasta Co., 1585 Siskiyou Blvd.; Safeway, 585 Siskiyou Blvd.; Tabu, 76 N. Pioneer. An OLCC inspector and two minor volunteers did the compliance testing Sept. 21. Volunteers attempt to buy alcohol from licensees or their employees to determine if they are properly checking identification and obeying state law prohibiting alcohol sales to anyone under 21.
