Our Town Meeting will be moderated by Jeff Golden, host of JPR radio's Jefferson Exchange, from noon to 2 p.m. It will be a discussion of win-win solutions for present and future generations. Peace troubadour James Twyman, recently returned from a peace ceremony in Baghdad, will be the keynote speaker. He will share his vision of world peace. The Rogue Valley Peace Choir, directed by Dave Marston, will open the Town Meeting. Lakota Chief Arvol Looking Horse started World Peace and Prayer Day in 1994 when the first White Buffalo was born. Arvol accompanied James Twyman on his recent trip to Baghdad. Their bravery and courage inspires us all to work for peace. Please join us at the Wellsprings for Music, Arts, Crafts, Gourmet Food, a children's Peace Village, and wellness speakers. Special guests throughout the day include Diane Patterson, Charles "Red Hawk" Thom, Counting Coup Drum, Elk Thunder Drum, the Eagle and Raven Dancers, Scott Huckabay, Kat Del Rio & Windsong, Eastern Sunz, Sol Survivor, the Ashe Dance Troupe, Kjphire, Tal, Tela, Stovepipe, Shobha Grace, Avatara, Rabbi David Zaslow, and Sufi dancing with Khalil and Jamila.
