This year's theme is "Water – Keep it Flowing!" There's no admission charge for the event, which features interactive exhibits for all ages focusing on improving salmon and wildlife habitat in the Bear Creek region and on watershed stewardship in individual homes and yards. Visitors can explore Bear Creek as it runs through North Mountain Park. Local experts will be on hand to offer tips on topics ranging from water saving and pollinator-friendly gardening to how and where to see spawning salmon in Bear Creek. Other activities include the salmon story tent, Native American drumming, the salmon spiral labyrinth, crafts and fly casting, as well as a lineup of musical entertainment MC’d by Paul Gerardi. Performers include Montana Soul, Rutendo Marimba and Phoenix Sigalove. A food concession will be provided by Peruvian Point. Those planning to attend are asked to help make it a zero-waste event by bringing a reusable water bottle or cup. North Mountain Park is at 620 North Mountain Ave. in Ashland.
