Police reports, Feb. 3-6 Monday Feb 6, 2017 at 7:03 PM Feb 6, 2017 at 7:03 PM Local report Friday, 8:09 a.m. — Police took a subject in the 1800 block of Siskiyou Boulevard into custody on a mental health hold.  Friday, 11:33 a.m. — Police investigated a report of mail theft in the 700 block of Terra Avenue.  Friday, 1:08 p.m. — Police investigated a report of motor vehicle theft in the 100 block of Lincoln Street. Friday, 1:08 p.m. — Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 400 block of Holly Street. Friday, 1:54 p.m. — Police responded to the 1500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard for a civil custody issue originally reported as a kidnapping. Friday, 4:18 p.m. — Police arrested a man in the first block of North Pioneer Street on a warrant and a charge of failing to register as a sex offender.  Friday, 8:27 p.m. — Police investigated a report of suspicious activity in the first block of North Main Street. Saturday, 1:52 a.m. — Police took an adult male in the Ashland area into protective custody and transported him to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation. Saturday, 2:39 a.m. — Police cited a man for driving under the influence of intoxicants at the intersection of North Main and Maple streets. Saturday, 9:05 a.m. — Police investigated a report of theft and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Park Street. Saturday, 1:39 p.m. — Police cited a woman for violating a city animal ordinance at the intersection of Blaine and Alida streets. Saturday, 6:26 p.m. — Police investigated a theft report involving a stolen wheelchair in the 200 block of Maple Street.  Saturday, 7:54 p.m. — Police responded to a report of counterfeit money in the 2500 block of Ashland Street after a fake $20 bill was discovered. Saturday, 11:01 p.m. —Police arrested a woman in the 700 block of Oak Street on charges of fourth-degree assault, first-degree burglary, harassment, reckless driving, and driving under the influence of intoxicants. Saturday, 11:15 p.m. — Police investigated a party in the 100 block of Van Ness Avenue and cited a juvenile on several minor in possession violations. Sunday, 12:32 a.m. — Police investigated a report of criminal mischief at the intersection of Van Ness Avenue and Helman Street. Sunday, 1:42 a.m. — Police arrested a woman in the 1300 block of Siskiyou Boulevard for driving under the influence of alcohol. Sunday, 10:12 a.m. — Police investigated a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Quincy Street. Sunday, 4:15 p.m. — Police arrested a man at the intersection of Stadium and Ashland streets on a warrant. Sunday, 4:54 p.m. — Police investigated a theft report in the 1600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Sunday, 5:03 p.m. — Police arrested a woman on several warrants in the 1100 block of East Main Street and lodged her in the Jackson County Jail. Sunday, 8:34 p.m. — Police arrested a man on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants at the intersection of South Laurel and North Main streets and lodged him in the Jackson County Jail.  Monday, 12:17 a.m. — Police investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 100 block of Lincoln Street where the two rear tires of a van had been slashed with a knife. Monday, 5:02 a.m. — Police cited a man who had a failure to appear warrant in the 600 block of Tolman Creek Road.
