--> --> Aug. 28: Allen, Rowe show off at all-star event Ashland Daily Tidings A pair of Ashland High baseball stars showed off their stuff last week at the Pacific Northwest Baseball Championship Series. Mike Allen and Bill Rowe each played key roles for Baseball Oregon which went 1-0-1 in the series held at Chaney Stadium in Tacoma, Wash. In the opener against Baseball Washington, Allen had a key hit and the two teams played to a 1-1 tie. In a 14-0 rout of Baseball Idaho, Allen went 1-for-3 with a run and RBI. Rowe went 1-for-2 and scored a pair of runs. The finale against Baseball Washington-Metro was rained out. Email your...
