The man was visibly intoxicated, causing public alarm and refused to leave the area. He was taken to Jackson County Jail. Sunday 6:35 p.m. — CDs ($150 value), antique silver cross and $10 in change stolen from unlocked vehicle, 100 block of Orange Avenue. Sunday afternoon — Cell phone ($300 value), credit cards and $1,100 cash stolen from locker in men’s locker room at the YMCA, 500 block of YMCA. The theft occurred between 4 and 5:45 p.m. while the victim was swimming in the pool. Sunday 4 p.m. — Seven vehicles scratched, Pioneer and Fork streets. Sunday 1:11 p.m. — Small amount of change stolen from unlocked vehicle, 300 block of Glenn Street. The theft occurred between 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Sunday 11:10 a.m. — Binoculars ($25 value) and $3 change stolen from unlocked vehicle, 300 block Tudor Street. The theft occurred overnight. Sunday morning — Small amount of change stolen from unlocked vehicle, 200 block of Hersey Street. The theft occurred between 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. Sunday morning — Mini binoculars ($70 value) and two digital cameras ($250 value) stolen from vehicle parked on 200 block of Vista Street. The theft occurred between 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 7:20 a.m. Sunday. Sunday 7:16 a.m. — Unknown amount of money stolen from unlocked vehicle, 300 block of Oxford Street. The theft occurred overnight. Sunday 2:57 a.m. — Man too intoxicated to care for himself, Oak Street and Sleepy Hollow Drive. He was taken to Medford detox. Sunday 12:08 a.m. — San Jose, Calif., man arrested for DUII-alcohol in the Blockbuster parking lot, 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. The man was taken to Jackson County Jail. Saturday 11:20 p.m. — Ashland man, 19, cited for minor in possession of alcohol, 100 block of Lithia Way. Saturday night — Prescription glasses ($300 value) and credit cards stolen from vehicle parked in downtown parking structure, Hargadine and Vista streets. The theft occurred between 8 and 11:30 p.m. Saturday. Saturday 4:43 p.m. — Washington man, 51, arrested for failing to perform the duties of a driver. Friday 10:57 a.m. — Transient man, 27, cited for disorderly conduct, East Main and Pioneer streets. The man disobeyed a pedestrian crossing signal and caused two vehicles to stop for him.
