Chabad Jewish Center of Southern Oregon will hold a Hanukkah celebration at the Plaza downtown. Events begin with a public Menorah lighting ceremony. Senator Alan Bates will be in attendance to light the 10-foot menorah. Following will be a performance of live klezmer music, and hot latkes will be served. Participants of all ages will sing traditional Hanukkah songs such as “Rock of Ages” and “The Dreidel Song,” and all children will receive a Hanukkah gift.
