ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 4:30 p.m. Wednesday - Transient man, 50, lodged in Jackson County Jail on charges of harassment and disorderly conduct after it was reported he was in an altercation with a woman, Siskiyou Boulevard and Sherman Street. The same man was cited for open container in public at 1:45 p.m. on the 00 block of North Main Street. 9 a.m. Wednesday - Mountain bike valued at $150 taken, A and Pioneer streets. 11:30 p.m. Tuesday - Burglary reported, 900 block Dead Indian Memorial Road, rifle and items valued at $170 taken. 8 a.m. Wednesday - Vehicle window broken and two speakers valued at $100 taken, $100 damage, 500 block Iowa 8 a.m. Wednesday - Vehicle window broken and CD player valued at $300 taken, $100 damage, 500 block Iowa. 4:45 p.m. Wednesday - Light fixture valued at $200 taken from Southern Oregon University's Ivy Hall pool room.
