Police reports, Nov. 4-10 Thursday Nov 10, 2016 at 7:06 PM Local reports Friday, 1 a.m. — Police investigated a report of telephonic harassment in the 1100 block of East Main Street. Friday, 3:48 a.m. — An attempted burglary was reported in the 300 block of North Mountain Avenue. Friday, 9:14 a.m. — Police found property in the 400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Friday, 9:45 a.m. — Police arrested a suspect after they violated a no-contact order in Ashland. Friday, 10:11 a.m. — Police cited and released a man on a third-degree theft charge in the 2300 block of Ashland Street after he allegedly shoplifted from Rite Aid.  Friday, 5:03 p.m. — Police arrested a woman on charges of second-degree theft, possession of methamphetamine, and warrants in the 100 block of East Main Street. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail.  Saturday, 2:34 a.m. — Police arrested a man for driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Lithia Way and North Pioneer Street.  Saturday, 12:17 p.m. — Police found property in the first block of Winburn Way and returned it. Saturday, 3:10 p.m. — Police responded to a theft report in the 200 block of North First Street. Saturday, 5:24 p.m. — Police cited a man for violating open container laws in public and using marijuana in public at the intersection of Lithia Way and North Pioneer Street. Saturday, 6:32 p.m. — Police arrested a man on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and four counts or reckless endangerment in the 400 block of North Main Street. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail. Saturday, 11:05 p.m. — A woman was placed in protective custody in the 400 block of Stadium Street and transported to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. Sunday, 1:55 a.m. — Police responded to a murder in the 200 block of Strawberry Lane that left one man dead. They arrested a man and lodged him in the Jackson County Jail. Sunday, 5:01 a.m. — Police arrested a fugitive on a warrant in the 200 block of Strawberry Lane. Sunday, 6:17 a.m. — A woman was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance in the 2500 block of Ashland Street, then later released at detox. Sunday, 12:30 p.m. — Police cited a man for drinking in public in the 200 block of Water Street. Sunday, 12:49 p.m. — Police responded to a theft report in the 200 block of North First Street and arrested a man on third-degree theft and two out of county warrants. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail. Sunday, 4:50 p.m. — Police responded to the unattended death of a man in the 900 block of Beach Street. Monday, 1:15 a.m. — Police investigated a report of lost property in the 100 block of Walker Avenue. Monday, 7:31 a.m. — Police took a report of a runaway juvenile in the 100 block of East Hersey Street. Monday, 9:39 a.m. — Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Madrone and Indiana streets. Monday, 9:40 a.m. — Police arrested a man in the 200 block of 'B' Street for criminal trespass and lodged him in the Jackson County Jail. Monday, 11:41 a.m. — Police investigated a report of fraud in the 400 block of Lori Lane. Monday, 2:19 p.m. — Police lodged a suspect in jail after they shoplifted $34.82 in the 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Monday, 2:24 p.m. — Police investigated the theft of a drill from Ace Hardware, located in the 200 block of A Street. Monday, 4:28 p.m. — Police arrested a man in the 1100 block of East Main Street on a probation violation and lodged him at the Jackson County Jail. Monday, 4:58 p.m. — Police investigated a liquor law violation at the intersection of North Pioneer and East Main streets. Tuesday, 12:56 a.m. — Police investigated a theft in the 100 block of East Main Street. Tuesday, 3:25 a.m. — Police investigated a theft in the Ashland area. Tuesday, 9:56 a.m. — Police took a report of a stolen bicycle in the 500 block of YMCA Way. The bicycle was recovered a short distance away. Tuesday, 1:34 p.m. — Police took a report of the theft of a license plate in the 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. It was recovered on a stolen vehicle by the Brookings Police Department. Tuesday, 3:32 p.m. — Police towed an abandoned vehicle from the intersection of Ventura Circle and Park Street. Wednesday, 1:52 a.m. — Police arrested a woman on a warrant in the 200 block of Water Street. Wednesday, 10:46 a.m. — A woman reported the theft of her purse from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Water Street while it was parked at the Ashland Recycling Center. Wednesday, 11:32 a.m. — Police conducted a confidential abuse investigation in the Ashland area. Thursday, 2:12 a.m. — Police arrested a man in the 100 block of Oak Street on charges of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft.
