Ashland man missing Ashland police are looking into the disappearance of a man missing since Oct. 1, and are asking for help from the community in their investigation. Craig Maxwell, 41, was reported missing Oct. 1 after failing to arrive at his workplace, Hummingbird and Raven's restaurant at 2305 Ashland Street. He had been expected to show up between 6 and 8 a.m. that day. "There is nothing to indicate foul play," Ashland Police Department officer Kevin Flynn said Saturday morning. "At this point, he's just missing. Everyone's just concerned." The missing man was last seen Sept. 29 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at his Terra Avenue home. Maxwell has brown eyes and brown hair worn in a short ponytail. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs around 165 pounds. He also has a mustache and usually wears a baseball cap. Other distinguishing characteristics include a tattoo on his right shoulder and a pierced left ear. Maxwell rides a black and purple Trek bicycle and sometimes pulls a small trailer with the bicycle Anyone with information is encouraged to call the police department at 482-5211.
