--> --> April 26: McDermott to coach camp, individual lessons Ashland Daily Tidings Southern Oregon University men's basketball coach Brian McDermott will hold his annual boys basketball camp June 17-21 at the Ashland Middle School, and is offering individual lessons May through November. The camp, for boys grades 4-8, will go from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day for a total of 25 hours. The cost is $80 per camper and $65 for a second family member. The individual lessons, to be conducted by McDermott and his staff, are one-hour sessions for boys or girls featuring one to three players working with one coach. McDermott's coaching staff as well as other Rogue Valley hoops coaches will assist at the camp. For more information on the camp or the individual lessons call McDermott at 482-4302 or 552-8554.
