The report says that quarterback Tom Brady likely knew about the deflation, and that Jim McNally, an attendant in the officials’ locker room, and John Jastremski, an equipment assistant, were involved in releasing some air from the footballs so they would be easier to catch. So far, there is no word on whether or not a penalty will be assessed.
