He was taken to the Jackson County Jail in Medford. 4:51 p.m. Sunday - An intoxicated and combative man on the 400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard was taken into custody and transported to the detoxification center in Medford. 1 p.m. Sunday - A parked Dodge Neon was struck by an unknown vehicle on the 2200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Damage estimated at $1,500. 12:29 p.m. Sunday - Unknown subject broke the drivers side windows of a vehicle with a piece of cement on the 700 block of Park Street. Damage estimated at $100. 12:20 a.m. Sunday - Ashland man on the 800 block of Park Street, 21, cited for an outstanding Jackson County Circuit Court warrant. 9:30 p.m. Saturday - Five children set off fireworks on Willow Street at Otis Street. All five were referred to the Jackson County Juvenile Department. 7 p.m. Saturday - Report of an assault in a motel room at the Best Western Windsor Inn on the 2500 block of Ashland Street. A man told the officer his wife had hit him a number of times and scratched his neck. Woman, 42, cited for assault and released in lieu of being lodged in jail due to medical issues. 6:10 p.m. Saturday - Ashland woman, 36, cited for shoplifting $3.88 worth of items from the Market of Choice on Siskiyou Boulevard. 5:14 p.m. Saturday - A boy was cited and released to his parents for thowing a cup containing ice at a moving vehicle on Oak Street. 4 p.m. Saturday - Male transient, 45, cited for stealing $19.17 worth of items from the Market of Choice on Siskiyou Boulevard. Talent Police Sunday- Unknown person entered a vehicle on the 200 block of Talent Avenue and stole 20 compact discs valued at $50.
