ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 3:40 a.m. Friday - Unknown suspect broke into three cars and attempted to enter two other vehicles on the 00 bloc of Emerick Street, the 100 block of 4th Street and at the corner of 4th and C streets, nothing reported taken. 2:54 a.m. Friday - DUII, North Main and Maple streets, Medford man, 24, cited and released to a sober adult. 1:33 a.m. Friday - DUII, Clay and East Main streets, Ashland man, 29, cited and released to a sober adult. 4:31 p.m. Thursday - DUII near the Minute Market North on North Main Street, Ashland man, 31, lodged in Jackson County Jail. 3:54 p.m. Thursday - Skateboarder failed to yield the right of way and failed to obey a traffic control device and was struck by a pickup truck, Van Ness Avenue and Water Street, skateboarder taken to Ashland Community Hospital with minor injuries, $1,000 damage to vehicle. 3:08 p.m. Thursday - Solar-powered light fixture valued at $20 taken from front yard, 300 block Helman Street. 2:45 p.m. Thursday - Mountain bike valued at $400 taken 1600 block Ashland Street.
