Let me douse you, sir, with a dose of reality. Note this list of U.S. government assassination plots, failed or successful, since World War II against world leaders: Kim Koo, Korea; Chou En Lai, China; Sukarno, Indonesia; Nehru, India; Nasser, Egypt; Duvalier, Haiti; Castro, Cuba; Allende, Chile; Noriega, Panama; Qadaffi, Libya; Khomeni, Iran; Hussein, Iraq; bin Laden, Afghanistan; Milosovic, Yugoslavia. For these, plus 22 others, I have documented proof. We're not an "aggressive" nation?" At least six U.S. states produce tons of munitions and chemical agents, hand grenades, howitzers, spray-bombs, multiple-launch rockets (binary warheads), incapacitating nerve agents, and mustard gasses. In Alabama the U.S. conducts a chemical-biological warfare school for the military. Many states have, or are still teaching, defoliation or anti-food warfare, or both. My sources for the above? 1. Senate and House hearings. 2. These books: "Killing Hope," (William Blum); and "THE Ultimate Folly," (R.D. McCarthy); 3. The U.S. Army - statistics compiled by the Center for Defense Information; plus 4. publications, lectures, years of extensive research by noted experts, including Oregon's Professor Emeritus, Donald Wells. By what right does the U.S., with the world's largest arsenal of WMD's (weapons of mass destruction), target Iraq? What if Iraq sent inspectors to tabulate our WMD's? We lust for their oil, we lust for war to get at their oil, while ignoring the 30 other oil-poor nations which possess considerable WMD's. Ponder that. Not an aggressive nation? The Bush threat of a pre-emptive strike against Iraq constitutes international crime, violates our United Nations commitment to rid the world of the scourge of war through pacific means. As America buckles under the Bush bravado, he plots against peace and humanity, when already our embargo has killed 500,000 Iraqis, mostly children and the aged. Mr. Bush, you call it a war for peace. Gross double-talk. What you want is war for oil, war for world dominance, war to preserve your poll ratings, which, says David Gergen, you enjoy solely because of 9/11. Appalled, world nations ask: "Are Americans asleep? Don't they see the shove-down-their-throats tactics employed by their unstable leader?" "Le President Bush," says a French newspaper, "Il est dangereux." This planet is being exposed to the ultimate nuclear horror, World War III. Email your...
