Kitchen Stories The premise is that in post war Sweden it was discovered that an average housewife walked the equivalent of the distance from Stockholm to the Congo every year while preparing her family meals. So the Home Research Institute sent out 18 observers to a rural district of Norway to map out the kitchen routines of single men. This is the story of one of those observers and his subject.
