Holly St., Medford. The shows marks the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, on the United States. Pianist Doris Sjolund and organist Virginia Peterson will provide accompaniment. The concert honors the losses of 9/11 and allows reflection on tragic events that have plagued the world since. Seating is limited. Admittance is free, but tickets will be required. Tickets are available from choir members, church members or by calling 541-826-7736. Chris Botti Grammy Award-winning trumpeter and composer Chris Botti will perform instrumental music at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. Based in Portland, Botti plays around the globe. His newest album, "To Love Again," was released in 2015. The CD features 13 attention-grabbing performances with guest artists Sting, Michael Bublé, Paula Cole, Gladys Knight, Jill Scott, Renee Olstead, Rosa Passos and Steven Tyler, with the London Session Orchestra conducted by Jeremy Lubbock, Billy Childs and Gil Goldstein. Tedeschi Trucks Band w/Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers A 12-piece vanguard of modern roots music, Tedeschi Trucks Band, featuring singer Susan Tedeschi, guitarist Derek Trucks, two drummers, a three-piece horn section, bassist and keyboard player, will deliver its range of R&B and ballads at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, in the Britt Pavilion, 350 S. First St., Jacksonville. The band's newest CD, "Let Me Get By," was released earlier this year. Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers will open the show. Blue Lightning will perform at 6 p.m. in the Performance Garden. Tickets are $69 for standing room-only, $67 for reserved seats, $41 for lawn seats, $31 for age 12 and younger, and are available online at brittfest.org , at the box office, 216 W. Main St., Medford, or by calling 541-773-6077. Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters Billy Bob Thornton is a great actor, plays a decent drum and he doesn't have a bad voice. But as a songwriter, he's no Tom Petty. Thornton and his band, J.D. Andrew on rhythm guitar, Brad Davis on lead guitar, Michael Wayne Butler on guitars and lap steel and Danny Baker on bass, will play roadhouse rock and rockabilly at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Rogue Theatre, 143 S.E. H St., Grants Pass. The group's recordings include a self-titled, 2014 release on CD and vinyl, the box set "Mobility," and the 2008 "Christmas Cheer." Tickets are $25, $35 or $45 and can be purchased online at roguetheatre.com , by calling 541-471-1316, or at the box office. No one younger than 21 will be admitted. 'Call Mr. Robeson' This roller-coaster journey through actor and singer Paul Robeson's life showcases his political activism as well as his music. Written by U.K. playwright, actor and singer Tayo Aluko, "Call Mr. Robeson" features "Ol' Man River" — sang by Robeson in the 1936 production of "Show Boat" — along with fiery oratory, a defiant testimony against the House Un-American Activities Committee, references to his seminal performances of Othello, and piano accompaniment by Karl Iverson. Shows are set for 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 8-11, at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way, Ashland.
