A Street Coffee and Art Walk this Saturday The A Street Coffee and Art Walk for May will take place from 10 am to noon. on Saturday morning, May 10. There will be several demonstrations at the galleries along A Street, as well as coffee and other refreshments. Bruce Bayard will be demonstrating digital imaging at the Studio A.B at 621 A Street. Next door, the JEGA Gallery and Sculpture Gardens is showing a new series of paintings by Thomasina Sawyer - "A Walk Through A Secret Garden," which she describes as "a journey through an emotional/physical landscape, undulating and sensual." Sawyer's works are from her galleries in France and SOHO, and JEGA is showing them alongside the delightful wood sculptures of Paul Tremaine. At the Fusion Gallery, just down from the corner of 4th and A Streets, Caryn Fieger will be demonstrating her unique techniques for painting on tiles. Her large hand-painted tile compositions are characterized by a rich profusion of animal and plant life, and are just part of the colorful displays at Fusion, the newest gallery on A Street. At Foray Gallery, Teresa Giacomini will be demonstrating the technique of painting with watercolor on clay board, a method that has distinctive features and some advantages over working on paper. Foray Gallery is at 500 A Street. All the galleries welcome the community and invite them to come in and visit on Saturday morning. LINKS: REVELS: Main | Calendar | Dining | Movies | T.V.
