The emphasis will be on finding fungi and learning something about identification and the diversity of mushroom species. Edible and poisonous varieties will be discussed. Lithia Park Nature Walks: Ashland Parks and Recreation Department leads free, easy half-hour walks through Lithia Park at 10 a.m. Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays. OSF Open House: The Oregon Shakespeare Festival invites community members to an open house on Sunday, May 3, at the OSF campus in downtown Ashland and the OSF Production Building, 408 Talent Ave., Talent. Self-guided tours of the Production Building, including the costume rentals and set-building areas, are from 9 a.m. to noon. In Ashland, tours through the costume shop occur every half hour from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A Spanish language tour is at 12:30 p.m. In the Margery Bailey Room, accessed through the Welcome Center at Pioneer and Main Streets in Ashland, take part in mask making, brass rubbing, costume and photo booth activities. Listen to an informal "Meet the Company" talk from 11 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. and watch the 28-minute "The Storytellers" documentary at 12:30 p.m. in the Black Swan Theatre, also on a corner of Main and Pioneer Streets. On the Courtyard Stage in the OSF campus brick courtyard, the band from OSF's production of "Guys and Dolls" will provide music from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. An information desk in the courtyard will provide tour times, campus maps and an entertainment schedule.
