What's documented

Jes Staley, former CEO of Barclays and a senior JPMorgan Chase executive, maintained a multi-year personal relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, including hundreds of emails in which Staley described Epstein as a close friend, and visits to Epstein's properties (List of people named in the Epstein files — Wikipedia). The UK Financial Conduct Authority found Staley had misled the regulator about how close and recent his relationship with Epstein actually was, and barred him from senior roles in UK financial services; JPMorgan separately sued Staley for indemnity after settling civil suits brought by Epstein accusers over the bank's handling of the relationship.
