On lag 10, 1955, Agents of the III arrested Louis Arlan;
Kerr-at lea Orleans, Louisiana, on a federal warrant charging s- -&#39;
violation of the Interstate transportation of Stolen Property Statat
lhile being interviewed concerning the federal charge on which he
was arrested, Kerr volunteered information that he was a homosexual-
on furnished the noses of 45 individuals with who! he claimed to
have had honosezual-relations since 1951. Kerr also stated that he
had a long standing friendship with Iorothg Landridge,&#39;Iegro movieactress. However, he added that she nae in no wag a so: deviate. &#39;-

previously been arrested on fraudulent check charges and had adnittm

of the Birmingham, Alabama movement filled Wrigley Field to ."-near the capacity and that approximately 30,000 persons were*in attendance. The meeting lasted from about 3:00 p. m. - Juntil 5:30 p. m. and it was described as the argest rally of iits sort ever to be held in Los Angeles, Ca fornia. The - -
featured speaker was Reverend Martin Luthe_ ng, E;esidan§_v,pof the_$9uthern ChristianlIéadérs1pPConfé"ence,who spoke int"sssssrc of the Birmingham non-violence movement. He comentedon events in Birmingham and remarked that they would be &#39;helped by getting rid of segregation and discrimination in Los&#39;Angeles, CaLifOrnia. King also stated that President Kennedyshould personally escort Negro students into the University _
of Alabama and issue an executive order declaring that segre-gation is unconstitutional under the 14th Amendment, _ f"
