.-It was noted that the envelope containing the letter
written to Mrs. MARTIN LUTHER KING was similar to envelopes
previously submitted by the Charlotte Office which envelope
had all observable physical features with the previously
submitted envelopes in connection with an investigation being
conducted by the Charlotte Offioe concerning a letter directed
to J. EDGAR HOOVER of the FBI. Also, it was noted that sheets
of paper used to prepare the handwriting on the above letter
were similar with sheets of yellow paper used to prepare the .
handwriting in.the previous submitted evidence by the Charlotte
Division. .
