Seventh-ranked Mazama (14-2, 10-1 Skyline) moved two games ahead of the Knights (12-6, 8-3) in league. "It kind of solidified our standing in first place right now," said Vikings coach Todd Nickerson. Lacey Garrett’s two-run triple with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning broke it open. Moments later, Danielle Stratton followed with an RBI triple. "That gave us a little bit of wiggle room," said Nickerson. Stratton had three hits and two RBIs. Advertisement Rachel Conard was 2-for-3 with a solo homer in the sixth, her second of the year.
