The board was immediately reorganized under the name Camelot Theatre Company, with Livia Genise serving as artistic managing director. She has signed a one-year contract. Genise had resigned from Actors’ Theatre effective Oct. 1, citing the board’s inability to raise money or stay out of micromanaging the theater. Under the reorganization, the theater will be known legally as Actors’ Theatre doing business as the Camelot Theatre Company. Advertisement Resigning Saturday were Pendleton, secretary Cassandra Christanti and members C.W. Smith, Nancy Slocum and Ed Colbert. Board members Neale Donald Walsch and Shoshana Rose were out of town when the new board was configured. The new company will assume the debts and assets of Actors’ Theatre and produce the remainder of its regular season, "Three Hotels" and "Oliver!" Genise said. The staged reading of "Sea Marks" and "The "Dueling Divas" series have been reinstated on their previous dates of Oct. 6 and Nov. 1-3, respectively. Genise said the new board will consist of eight to 10 members. "We’re looking for team players," she said, citing the roundtable image of Camelot, "where nobody is looking to say, ‘It’s good to be king.’" Camelot board members after Sept. 23 will include: Genise, Johanna Fischer, Cheryl Alderson, Ted Gibbs, Scott Hall and Creighton Barnes. As additional fund raisers, the concert version of "I Do! I Do!" starring Tami Marston and Geoffrey Riley will be extended with performances on Oct. 13, 20 and 27 and Nov. 10, and a staged reading of "Betrayal" will be performed Nov. 7-9. The play selections for next season, which corresponds to the calendar year, will be "Master Class" by Terrence McNally, "Born Yesterday" by Garson Kanin, "Wait Until Dark" by Frederick Knott, "Zorba," "The Sisters Rosensweig" by Wendy Wasserstein, "Inherit the Wind" and "Carnival."
