Police arrest final suspect in mother-daughter sex case All three men accused of having sex with a 13-year-old Medford girl in her mother's presence are now in custody. Medford police arrested Anthony Dewayne Smith, 32, Friday on charges of second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy, endangering the welfare of a minor, conspiracy to commit second-degree rape and conspiracy to commit second-degree sodomy. He was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $100,000 bail. Smith formerly lived in Roseburg but had recently returned to Medford, police said. He was arrested about 4 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of West Eighth Street after police got an anonymous tip. "We are now three for three," Medford police Lt. Tim George said. Earlier this week, police arrested Lamar Esquire McKinzie, 30, and Johnny Lee Carter, 39, on sex charges in the case. McKinzie was arrested in Texas. The arrests follow an incident in east Medford last month in which a mother allegedly let the three men have sex with her 13-year-old daughter. The mother, whose name is being withheld to protect the girl's identity, has been arrested on rape and sodomy charges as well. Mail Tribune Copyright The Mail Tribune 1999, Medford, Oregon USA
