Emergency services, Oct. 25 Monday Oct 24, 2016 at 2:42 PM Oct 24, 2016 at 8:24 PM Felony arrests Burglary — Zachary Todd Hallen, 19, of the 400 block of Teakwood Drive, Eagle Point. Medford police Monday arrested Hallen on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief,second-degree theft, possession of methamphetamine and interfering with a police report. He was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance. Burglary — Levi Ryder Buday, 20, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Buday on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief,second-degree theft, interfering with a police report and violating the conditions of his probation on a previous vehicle-theft conviction. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail. Assault — Trevor Dean Hall, 21, of the 7000 block of 30th Street, White City. Hall made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree assault. He was booked Monday in jail and released. Burglary — Paul Mykol Taylor, 58, of the 500 block of Second Avenue, Gold Hill. Taylor made his initial appearance Monday in circuit court on charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree robbery. He was booked Monday in jail and released. Drugs — Michael Jeffrey King, 27, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested King on warrants charging him with manufacture, possession and delivery of heroin in a school zone as well as charges of possession of heroin and marijuana, tampering with evidence, furnishing false information to police and for violating his parole. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail. Drugs — Gerald Duane Golden III, 24, of the 3900 block of Cole Drive, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Golden on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged Sunday in jail and released Monday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Jacob William Prest, 27, of the 200 block of St. Ives Street, Talent. Rogue River police Sunday arrested Prest on a charge of possession of heroin and for violating the conditions of his parole on a previous burglary conviction. was lodged Monday in jail without bail. Drugs — Aaron James Chase, 33, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Chase on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for failing to appear on a misdemeanor theft charge. He was lodged Monday in jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — James Michael Shewmaker, 48, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Shewmaker on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for violating the conditions of his probation on a previous drug conviction. He was lodged Monday in jail without bail. Crime reports Theft — 2500 block of Alma Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 6:47 a.m. Monday of the theft of a stereo and wallet from a vehicle which suffered window and dashboard damage. The loss was valued at $2,041. Theft — 2600 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:53 a.m. Monday of the theft of a stereo and vandalism to a window and dashboard. The loss was valued at $1,400. Theft — 2800 block of Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:26 p.m. Sunday of the theft of two cellphones, a laptop and a hard drive. The loss was valued at $1,890.
