Red Cross CPR-based classes set for October The Rogue Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross has scheduled the following classes in October at 60 Hawthorne St., Medford. Preregistration is required for all classes. For more information or to register, call 779-3773. Adult Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation : 6 p.m. Oct. 3, 9, 17 and 23. Also offered from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 6, 20 and 27. Class fee is $28. Standard First Aid and CPR: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6, 20 and 27. CPR is taught in the morning and first aid in the afternoon. The class is also offered as a two-night class with CPR on the first night and first aid on the second night: 6 p.m. Oct. 3 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4; 6 p.m. Oct. 9 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 10; 6 p.m. Oct. 17 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 18; 6 p.m. Oct. 23 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24. The class fulfills Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements for first aid. Class fee is $37 and includes a first aid handbook. Adult CPR Review : The class is for those holding an American Red Cross Adult CPR certificate that is about to expire. Hours are 1 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 19 and 6:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25. Bring your CPR/AED certificate to class. Class fee is $22. Infant/Child CPR : The class will be held at two locations: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 13 at 60 Hawthorne St., Medford, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Boys and Girls Club, 309 W. Main St., Talent.
