Online motorcycle store wins award Oct 05, 2009 12:00 AM A A Medford e-commerce retailer Motorcycle Superstore has won the 2009 Oregon Entrepreneurs Network Growth Stage Company of the Year Award. The award was presented to Motorcycle Superstore's chief executive Don Becklin at the 16th-Annual OEN Tom Holce Entrepreneurship Awards held in Portland. The Growth Stage award recognizes companies with a fully-marketable product or service, who earned a degree of market acceptance and have acquired a critical mass of customers. Motorcycle Superstore recently was listed No. 223 on the Internet Retailers list of the Top 500 e-retailers, up 73 positions from 2008. The company's Web site attracts more than a million unique monthly visitors. It has recorded 70 percent year-over-year growth during 2009. Motorcycle Superstore won over Deschutes Brewery of Bend and Micro Power Electronics Inc. of Beaverton. — Greg Stiles
