Emergency services, Jan. 18 Wednesday Jan 18, 2017 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Vehicle Theft — Robert Hunter Simpson, 22, no known address. Medford police arrested Simpson Tuesday on an additional felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Jackson County sheriff's deputies and Medford police originally arrested Simpson Sunday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and attempting to elude police in a vehicle. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $52,500 bail. Drugs — Jessica Raquel Johnson, 21, of the 1200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Johnson Monday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth-possession charge. She was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday because of overcrowding. Theft — Lucien Dale Allen, 38, no known address. Ashland police arrested Allen Monday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday because of overcrowding. Drugs — Travis Ryan Daniels, 28, of the 1500 block of Oleander Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Daniels Monday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of contempt, interfering with police, resisting arrest and third-degree criminal mischief, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth-possession charge and for violating his parole on a previous meth-possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Criminal Mischief — Fernando Mesta, 33, no known address. Medford police arrested Mesta Tuesday on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief, possessing methamphetamine, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous heroin-possession charge and on a sanction for violating his probation on a third-degree robbery conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Drugs — Nivardo Sanchez, 31, of the 400 block of Gibbon Road, Central Point. On Tuesday, Sanchez made his initial court appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing heroin and a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance. Burglary — Isaac lee Stephenson, 32, of the 1700 block of Fish Lake Road, Butte Falls. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Stephenson Tuesday on felony charges of first- and second-degree burglary and first-degree theft, misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief and contempt, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of attempting to elude police and possessing a Schedule II controlled substance. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday. Drugs — Tasha Marie Looper, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Looper Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous third-degree theft charge, and for violating her parole on a previous first-degree theft conviction. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Elude — Michael Spencer Matthews, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Matthews Tuesday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a felony warrant charging him with coercion, a misdemeanor charge of attempting to elude police on foot, a misdemeanor warrant charging him with fourth-degree assault and for violating his parole on a previous coercion conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.
