Admirals start fast, beat Spartans By Staff report Oct 20, 2018 12:37 AM A A Vladislav Polyashov and Dmitrii Munirov scored two goals apiece, Alec Johnson had two assists and the West Sound Admirals jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first 24 minutes en route to a 7-3 victory in Western States Hockey League action Friday at The RRRink. Rhys Cottle, Miroslav Smid and Hayden Moistner each scored a goal for the Spartans (2-4), who have lost three straight. Polyashov scored with 13 minutes, 17 seconds to go in the first period to break a scoreless tie, then struck again less than a minute later. Cory Kane, who had a goal and an assist for the Admirals, scored at the 8:52 mark of the first period as the visitors took a 3-0 lead into the second period.
