Allred finishes in third place STANFORD, Calif . -- Jason Allred, a former Ashland High standout, finished third overall with a 210 after the final round of the U.S. Intercollegiate Tournament at the par-71 Stanford Golf Course on Sunday. Allred, a sophomore at Pepperdine, began the day in second-place, just one shot off the lead, but posted a 71 in the final round. University of California's Han Lee took medalist honors with a 207 while Allred's teammate Michael Beard finished second at 209. California grabbed the overall team title with a 855 while Pepperdine finished one stroke back for second. Portland (872) took third with Oregon (878) and Oregon State (879) rounding out the top five. Ryan Lavoie's 217 was the top score for the Ducks, earning him a ninth-place finish. Oregon State's John Lepak and Anthony Arvidson tied for sixth with Portland's Ryan Nelson at 215.
