On Friday, Central Point police added a charge of possession of amphetamines to a list of charges Patton was jailed on Wednesday. He remained in the Jackson County Jail Friday night without bail. Eluding — William Anthony Chicano IV, 23, of the 100 block of Wells Road, Central Point. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy arrested Chicano late Thursday on charges of attempting to elude police on foot and in a car, reckless driving and endangering another person. He was lodged in jail, then released Friday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Robert Scottland Turnbull, 41, of the 16600 block of Ford Road, Rogue River. Oregon State Police arrested Turnbull Friday on a charge of possession of a precursor substance with intent to manufacture a controlled substance. He was lodged in jail, then released on his own recognizance Friday afternoon. Drugs — Melissa Jon Emmett Welch, 54, of the 16600 block of Ford Road, Rogue River. She was lodged in jail, then released on her own recognizance Friday afternoon. Drugs — David Edward Huntley, 54, of the 500 block of Effie Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Huntley Friday on charges of possession of amphetamines, fourth-degree assault, endangering another person, second-degree criminal mischief, and harassment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday on $20,000 bail. Advertisement Drugs — Jennifer Rebecca Music, 31, of the 700 block of South Oakdale Street, Medford. Music appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Friday on charges of possession of amphetamines and prostitution. She was booked into jail and released. Drugs — Stephen Michael Dyer, 41, of the 3100 block of Bursell Road, Central Point. Dyer appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Friday on charges of possession of amphetamines and prostitution. He was booked into jail and released. Drugs — Angela Marie Craig, 40, of the 8300 block of 29th Street, White City. Craig appeared in Circuit Court Friday on charges of possession, manufacture and delivery of amphetamines. She was booked into jail and released. Crime reports Theft — Mace Road and Elliott Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report Thursday of a theft from a truck of a compact disk player, speakers and an amp with a total estimated value of $845. Theft — 1400 block of Clearsprings Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a Jeep of a CD player, CDs, an amp and speakers with a total estimated value of $3,100. Fire calls Grass fire — Jackson County Sports Park, 6900 Kershaw Road, White City. Jackson County Fire District No. 3 and Oregon Department of Forestry stopped a quarter-acre grass fire at the shooting range Friday afternoon. A father-son pair identified by witnesses admitted their bottle rocket had started the blaze and were cited for violation of fire restrictions. Lightning strikes — The Oregon Department of Forestry and U.S. Forest Service crews combed the area for fires sparked by lightning. At least three burning snags were found Friday evening — one in the Colestine area, one near Bull Gap and one on Mount Ashland. Those fires were stopped before they spread, officials said.
