Reisinger, 43, left her job at Sam Jennings Co., 229 N. Riverside Ave., Medford, at about 10 a.m. Feb. 3 to see a doctor about a cold and earache she couldn’t shake. When she didn’t return to work or home that evening, her family reported her missing to Medford police. Police looked east into Klamath and Lake counties. Reisinger’s younger sister, Lisa Jordan, flew down from Everett, Wash., to be with their parents in Medford and do what she could in the search. Jordan and police have confirmed sightings of Reisinger in Klamath Falls and Lakeview on Feb. 3, but since then have collected no new information. They are monitoring her bank accounts for activity and asking police agencies across Eastern Oregon, Northern California and Nevada to keep an eye out for her and her silver and white 1983 Chevy Blazer. Lake County authorities have conducted ground and aerial searches of areas they thought Reisinger might visit. "We don’t have anything," Jordan said. "We just want to find out something." Jordan said of her five sisters, the warm, upbeat Rosie seems the least likely to disappear without a trace. "She wouldn’t just leave and not call someone," Jordan said. Jordan said the busy mother of two adult children worked long hours at Sam Jennings, a company owned by her husband’s family, and often traveled to and from work with her husband. Reisinger always wore a smile, even when she was down, Jordan said. "Anybody can stress out and need a break," Jordan said. "Maybe there was more stress than she could handle." Reisinger’s family worries that while she was taking a break, something went wrong — an accident, a crime, who knows. Jordan drove miles of lonely state Highway 140 and U.S. Route 395, stopping at each country store and wayside to ask if anyone had seen her sister and to post a flyer describing Reisinger and her vehicle. "I just wish we had something," Jordan said. "With no indication of a crime, police can only do so much." Jordan hopes that anyone who might have spotted her sister will call Medford police Detective Terry Newell at 774-2238. The missing woman is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. She has a medium complexion, hazel eyes and brown, shoulder-length hair that she usually wears pulled up. She has a scar at the base of her throat from a thyroid surgery and requires medication for a thyroid condition, Jordan said. She was last seen wearing a dark shirt, black jacket with a Peterbilt logo on the front, black jeans and black tennis shoes. Her Chevy Blazer is in good condition and has license plate PTB 358.
