For boys incoming grades 4-9. Grades 4-6 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; grades 7-9 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Cost is $75 per person, and includes T-shirt, prizes and drinks. SOUTHERN OREGON UNIVERSITY CAMPS — Camp 1 for boys grades kindergarten through eighth is June 14-18 at Ashland Middle School. Grades K-3 go from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.; grades 4-8 from 9:30 a.m.-noon and 1-3:30 p.m. Cost is $80 for grades K-3 and $100 for grades 4-8. Bowling OREGON STATE WOMEN’S BOWLING ASSOCIATION — The 61st annual championship held at Lava Lanes and hosted by the Rogue Valley Women’s Bowling Association and the center runs through June 13 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Duathlon EVANS VALLEY DUATHLON — June 12, 8 a.m., at Rogue River Middle School. Includes 5-kilometer run and 30-kilometer bike ride. Cost for individual is $15 if preregistered or $20 on day of race. Soccer ROGUE VALLEY SOCCER CLUB TRYOUTS — Tryouts held in May for competitive boys and girls teams ages under-11 through under-14. All tryouts will be held at Fichtner-Mainwaring Park in Medford from 5-6:30 p.m., with registration from 4-5 p.m. Tryout days are: U-11 players, May 10 and 17; U-12 players, May 11 and 18; U-13 players, May 12 and 19; U-14 players, May 13 and 20. To register, players must bring a copy of their birth certificates, a 1-inch x 1-inch photo, shinguards and water. Cost is $100 at the time of tryouts; cost is refunded if a player is not selected for a team. Players are encouraged to attend both sessions and attending one tryout date is mandatory to be placed on a team.
